Bucket Brigade

Amarillo needs water. Catch it. Dodge the debt. Keep the reservoir from running dry.

Bucket Brigade

Move with your mouse, your finger, or the arrow keys. Catch the good stuff in the bucket. Let the debt fall.

P or Esc pauses. Your best score stays in this browser only; nothing is sent anywhere.

Catch these

  • Water +10, fills the reservoir
  • Jug of water +25, fills it more
  • Aquifer gold +50, fills it most
  • Jobs +20
  • Road repair +15
  • Rain doubles your points for 8 seconds
  • Helium slows everything down for 6 seconds

Every 8 good catches in a row raises your multiplier, up to ×5.

Dodge these

  • IOU −20, drains the reservoir, breaks your streak
  • Interest −10, falls fast
  • Debt −50, drains the reservoir, knocks you out for a moment

The reservoir drains on its own, and faster the longer you last.

A game, not a record: the points and the reservoir are made up. For the sourced figures, see Debt and Water.
