Council appoints a temporary AEDC board, 5-0
The day after four of five AEDC directors resigned, the council voted 5-0 to appoint Alex Fairly, former councilmember Howard Smith and Councilmembers Don Tipps and Josh Craft as temporary members of the AEDC board. With remaining director Dipak Patel, they formed a five-member board. An earlier motion by Councilmember Tom Scherlen died for lack of a second.[1][2]
