NRC confirms receipt of Fermi's applicant-prepared draft environmental impact statement
Fermi says that in July 2026 the NRC acknowledged receipt of its applicant-prepared draft EIS under the NRC pilot program and issued a review schedule and resource estimate. The NRC's project page lists issuing the draft EIS as a September 2026 target and a final EIS as a December 2026 target, and lists tendering the third part of the application as a December 31, 2026 target.[1][2]
