Shelter implants 809 free microchips during an October 2022 campaign
Animal Management & Welfare (AM&W) reported to its advisory board that during the October 2022 "Return to Home Challenge" it implanted 809 microchips at no charge. Free microchip clinics, later supported by donated chips from the BISSELL Pet Foundation, continued in later years.[1][2]
